The Equity of Harsh Change

The Equity of Harsh Change
The Equity of Harsh Change

Endings come at great cost,
change an unwanted and resisted plight,
yet we must acknowledge its necessity,
even though at times we cannot see it;
and grieve we may the losses,
see not the open door, as change dictates,
as time imparts its score,
and within the undulations of life,
the challenges we must face,
implore our attention for learning.

Some circumstances are so transformative,
we may change outwardly and inwardly,
our perceptions and realizations epiphanies,
our soul awoken from a long slumber
to greet life in a different way;
these are the changes that rock our world,
forge new pathways and uplift our intuition
to new heights,
and that can be difficult,
but rendering far greater possibilities.

We so often look within
but just see the pain of change,
center upon the difficulty
rather that the new opportunities,
and those eyes keep us stagnant,
but if we can let pain be
and focus on the opening door,
life can be exciting and offer far more
that we thought,
as we rearrange our thinking.

Acceptance can be inspiring,
opening our hearts to new kingdoms,
where anything is possible,
when we decide to flow with circumstances
rather than fight everything,
and in that calm flowing
the intuitive mind renders truth,
scope inexperienced
and worlds to explore,
where in serene perspective,
we become so much more.

New doors opening and change can lead us to a far better place. I love this inspiring, motivational verse, Tony. It shows how one can have a wonderful life by accepting changes and flowing with a new life force. Marvelous work, dear poet.
