In Union Shall We Prosper
Race, nor religion, nor belief can part us in union…
Union, implies an unbreakable bond,
a coming together bereft of compromise
and allied in belief and purpose;
this very paradigm
is so maligned in practice,
being united in partnership,
politics or any venture, is less possible
than previously thought.
The reason is the perception of difference,
once tolerant, we have become
focused on difference and less accepting
of beliefs other than our own,
creating a wedge between ourselves
and everyone else,
an either us or them mentality
has prevailed.
Personal relationships are no exception,
the most minuscule detail of variation
can quickly become the deciding factor
of disillusionment and eventual breakdown,
thus the ever-increasing divorce rates,
and the legal and emotional toll suffered,
destroying lives to a great extent,
and just getting worse.
In politics, societal shifts and cultural difference,
the world, although much more connected
technologically, is less willing to accept change,
and racism, religious beliefs
and philosophical paradigms
are much contested,
a surge of expectation creating oppression,
‘join our belief or be gone’.
Tolerance is a necessary aspect
of spiritual growth and assimilation,
and as the world is turning into
a melting pot of diversity,
we all must accept tolerance as a positive benefit,
allowing humanity to freely express
their beliefs and religions within a framework
of moral servitude and compliance.
Union is then for the common good,
allowing people to exist peacefully
within a framework of diversity, and if people are compliant,
accept others beliefs as their right,
and as long as it doesn’t impact on theirs,
then we will find peace:
a world of tolerance and acceptance,
without the ignorance of persecution,
just because of skin color, culture or belief.

Wow! It is 40 degrees faren. here. Last night was reallllllly cold and it is not yet winter. We had a light dusting of snow two days ago.
Yes over 100 c, we are at opposites: freezing and boiling. Perhaps we should meet in the middle and be comfortable. Lol
