Soul Connections, in the Vast Cycles of Life
The soul, the very essence of us,
is but a pearl, yet to be discovered,
and each life and experience within it,
held back from the blinkered life we live,
focused upon what this life requires:
the trials, the joy of being, unique,
but within us as a whole,
what we are in potential,
from darkness to light and beyond,
as if pieces of a jigsaw
awaiting that last single piece,
to render our entirety.
Some lives are oblivious,
so entrenched in this physical life
they see not the potential,
the vast spectrum of us;
and others intuitively connect
to knowledge and experience
that transcends this life,
feeling and recognizing memories
like dreams of past taunting,
familiarity so close yet so far from reach,
and know and imbibe understandings
that seemingly come from nowhere.
We are vessels of immense capacity,
and each life offers unique lessons and perspective
that uplifts our sentient minds,
and if we are aware, opens doors
to vast knowledge gained,
each life another chapter
in the ascendancy of a soul,
the potential that at one point
will deliver us to higher planes of existence,
far beyond the base physical life
we acknowledge as reality,
but simply a small facet of development.
Connections we may find in others,
seemingly unexplained attractions,
in truth a shared past, often many times,
and those souls are family,
a communion of loving connections
that surpass superficial understanding,
yearning for truth and the memories
of past experience,
to once again relate and appreciate;
so be aware these kindred spirits,
their being is a great comfort,
in each and every moment of a life.
