Fantasy – Surrender to the Temptation

Fantasy

Captured thoughts

Breathless visions

Blurred lines

No endings

Or beginnings

Bodies melting into one another

Shapes moving

Under covers

Anticipation

Of the perhaps, the maybe

And likely possibilities

Intrigued

By what might be

On the other side

A playful game

Of seek and hide

Slip and slide

Someone tied

Purified

Sultry whispers

Bedroom eyes

Just step inside

The darkened room

With an opened mind

What you’ll find

Close the door

Explore

Surrender to temptation

Your imagination

Tantalization

Stimulation

Something soft and sensual

Provocative and plentiful

Every thought and every dream

Machines

Kings and Queens

Movie screens

Crossing streams

Maybe teams

Your reality is what it seems

Aspire to your desire

Live your fantasy

I write about everything and sometimes nothing at all. I'm fascinated by old things, rusty things, abandoned places, or anywhere that a secret might be unearthed. I'm passionate about history and many of my pieces are anchored in one concept of time or another. I've always been a writer, dating back to my youth, but the last decade has been a time of growth for me. I'm continually pushing the limitations of vocabulary, syntax, and descriptive phrasing.

An evocative write Ralph, of imagination, fantasy and desire. Great use of words, a sensual and smooth flowing work, filled with imagery. Nicely done my friend.

Shades of Gray appealing to many, be yourself, know thyself, let your inhibitions loose into your world of fantasy, one may just be surprised? Humans are addicted to sensuality and desires, no matter the cut of cloth were from, temptations weaken our souls at times to experiment and participate in the nether world. Well penned sir.
