Learning Control in the Quietness of Mind

Learning Control in the Quietness of Mind
Learning Control in the Quietness of Mind

We may want, strive and work toward,
but to push our will and thoughts
creates such disharmony and obstruction,
we find ourselves in a hell of frustration and disaster,
all because we pushed.

Pushing achieves nothing but
learning how to push,
and in that desperation of want
we interfere with the process of manifestation,
our will the shear strength of creating blockage.

It is not the power of will that creates our circumstance,
but the clarity of thought accompanying,
and repeated forcing creates an opposing force
to attain balance, and thus obstacles and pitfalls,
when one clear thought can create what we want.

Our thoughts are like magic
in their ability to create reality,
yet without some finesse and understanding the process,
we can become slave to our desperation and doubt,
pushing thoughts over and over again,
until in confusion we become clouded.

Honing clear and concise thoughts takes practice,
but for the reward, smooth transitions of change,
just as we envisage them,
by thinking concisely what we want
and then letting them go, completely, to let life do its work.

The mind works best when calm,
when thoughts are clear and unencumbered,
so that in the stillness of thought
we may exact precisely our wishes,
in a serene harmony that raises our intent
and lets the process of thought to matter
unfold without opposition.

A pleasure Phyllis, it will make you think and more. Its hard going though, as he repeats things to get it into your mind. Then the epiphanies start. You’ll have much to talk about. Cheers!
