All What I Am…Indelible

All What I Am
All What I Am

I am a vessel of life,
a fountain of knowledge,
a store of experience,
and as broken as a heart could be,
alone and battered,
yet calm and accepting
of life’s burden,
bruised and scarred
from self-ineptitude,
and in solitude,
vibrant of soul,
my light aspiring heights,
my understanding
filled with hope
that love will prevail.

I am process,
a human flesh of delusion,
a sentient mind of awareness,
yet rattled by doubt,
failures and self-loathing,
but also a knowing
that potential is mine to believe,
and no limitations exist
beyond my own set,
as I travail time,
glean life’s gifts,
to become more filled with light,
to look beyond my shell,
beyond horizons
for truth’s solace.

I am a believer,
I accept the spiritual path,
reject violence, contention
and the limits they espouse,
instead I seek peace,
beyond myself,
beyond the doubts of negative people,
and in doing so adopt hope,
cling to the good
and let go the bad,
to balance a learning life,
and live with a tranquil heart,
a kindness to share,
and know my path is not in vain,
not without purpose.
