Different Kind of Reality …
In this crazy world,
insanity reigns,
but those who look upon,
the world with sanity –
absolutely have no fun.
We need a different kind of reality,
in a world that has gone wrong,
it is the creative talents,
that always save it.
The poets with their emotions
and inspiration,
offer everyone,
something to admire.
Poetry speaks to everyone
and so many can relate.
Emotions created,
from joy,
from tears
and most of all from love.
Painters show the world,
in beautiful colors,
when they paint landscapes.
Suddenly the world is brighter,
rainbows seem to fill the sky.
Modern painters,
with brilliant colors –
offer people a different view of the world.
Writers do the most,
they can take a person,
out of the ordinary world
and lead them into a new world –
as they step into the printed page.
Musicians with songs and music,
lighten moods and make people smile,
they get people dancing
and even romancing.
So even though the world has gone a kilter,
we can look to the creative,
the poets, the painters, the writers, the musicians,
among others,
to keep us light and gay.
Keep us on track
and most of all –
keep us smiling, loving and laughing.
Enjoying things,
like dancing in the rain
and the best of all things.

Oh how I love this poem, Rasma. It is so cheerful and really a great message – we do need more creativity in this world from artists, and more dancing in the rain. I so love dancing in the rain! Thank you for writing this poem.
