Love So Precious
We have a love so precious,
that sun would no longer shine,
if you were not mine.
I would no longer smile –
if you’d go away my dear.
Without you the rain would continue to fall,
the days would all be dark and gray,
I would have no happiness,
if you would no longer loved me.
Your love is what makes my days,
so sunny and bright,
brings me sunshine –
even when the clouds gather.
You tell me I love you
and rainbows appear in the sky.
My heart beats double time
and the world is just fine.
I love you now
and will love you forever,
as long as you’re in my world –
angels in heaven continue to sing.
The sun in the morning,
seems like a beacon,
promising another wonderful day –
a day with you loving me.
You dry my tears,
chase away all my fears
and in the dark night –
hold me ever so tight.
For you I would build,
a castle in the sky,
where we could chase our dreams
and plan happy schemes.
I hope I make you feel,
just the way I do,
that with your love –
I can even fly like a bird through the sky.
The stars in the heavens,
shine ever brighter,
everything fell in place –
the day you took my hand.
On and on in this life,
we go side by side,
never a day –
without a word of love
We were made for one another,
I knew it from the start,
the day you walked into my life
and took my heart.
So together we’ll face,
the world before us,
together we’ll be –
just you and me.
Every day we make gladder,
chasing away all that doesn’t matter,
sharing in all the special things –
with a love so precious.
