Forever Light in Distance Stands

Forever light in distance stands,
a knowing it will prevail,
and no matter darkness’s intent,
its prevalence temporary,
as light seeks all dark ill,
to quell its shadow life,
its dull repugnant malaise,
when truth will arise
to vanquish all its sins.

First was darkness,
then light to reveal the truth,
the righteous whim of life fulfilled,
in crushing victory
that echoes in time eternal,
shadows but the cringing
of darkness from light, the truth sayer,
and doubt you may in darkness hold,
yet light will always reign.

In light the truth lives abundant,
and some may hide in shadows,
masked from light,
hidden in a darkness within, yet,
where light is, so truth will be revealed,
in time the shadows fall,
the lies crumple
and sins exposed for what they are,
selfish wasted time.
