Father, Who Am I?

Father Who Am IFather, who am I

That you would give your son?

Why did he have to die

For someone such as me?

You’ve suffered more for me

Than I ever have for you

And yet I still don’t seem to get it

Please help me understand

What you want from me

There has got to be some greater plan

I am waiting, Father, here I am

But please be patient with me

For I am only human

    Shannon,

This poem is very beautiful. It brought me great joy to read it!

He wants our Trust in Him from what I have been guided to understand, and our Faith in His Son as our Savior.

Thank you for sharing such an elegant prayer, in poem.

I am so blessed to have seen this!

    Hugs,

    Tamara
