The Erratic Path of a Narcissist
Stumbling through life,
each step so clouded by delusion,
I watch them driven by their own lies,
adhered to so profoundly
that truth is an ever-illusive echo
of what they see,
a wanted world
where they are never wrong,
much smarter than the throng
of minds who oppose them.
Yet for all their stoic fronts,
they are like glass, a shattered life
bleeding past like fresh wounds,
never to be forgiven, or even understood,
just the venting and blame
that holds them to their broken souls,
never to be whole,
for that would take forgiveness,
and they see that as weakness,
to vindicate their perpetrators.
So a toxic mind trains itself to vent,
to spite and claw at life,
for all that has been done to them,
yet they are absolved for all they do in defense,
they the perpetrators of vile intent,
a victim, with reason somehow justified,
that causes harm
like a dark echo of past reignited,
flighted in blame
of innocents unjustly proclaimed.
They may smile and afford understanding,
for what they have endured,
but they can never call their spite justified,
and all they do is lie and manipulate,
and rule their deluded lives
with fire and ice,
and the casualties mount,
the drama counts for nothing
but the hurt of so many,
living with a narcissist.

It is still another one that I must add to my Social Media pages! How descriptive, and overflowing with the wisdom that only comes from the experience of having faced the very real darkness that these kind contain, through and through.
