Within the Soul of Us, Music
Music touches the soul as no other,
in the sway of its beauty, intricacy and heart
we are transported,
colors flashing, chakras spinning,
as energy envelopes our every sense,
and our very soul beats in time and space
to this pure, all-encompassing creation.
The beauty of human creation
can be overwhelming,
so touching or transformative
that we become part of its flow,
the intent and purpose melding within us,
surging within every cell, nerve
and nuance of understanding.
What touches us in this way is such a gift,
a connection to the creator,
an out of body experience that brings us closer
to the core of us, the beginnings,
the essence of our being,
and once touched we seek more,
for beauty is an epiphany of experience.
Complex music is like peering into a cell at work,
the miracle of inter-relationships,
working together in harmonious ease,
to accomplish the maintenance of life,
notes, like the ebb and flow of oceans,
draws the soul to experiences unknown,
and for a moment we can know of perfection.

I so understand your thoughts on music and how it affects us, how it moves our souls. I used to play many string instruments and my son still does. When I watch his videos I can see him become one with the music and his soul shines forth. I love and so appreciate music. This is a great tribute to the creativity of music, Tony. It has really touched my soul.

I love all kinds of music:
Rich, lustrous instrumentals;
smooth, velvety Jazz;
the stir and captivation of Classical, Chorus, and Fine, Rich Instrumental;
and, many other styles of music enrich my moments, as well.
I love high-piano notes! Such sounds stop time for me, and sugar-coat even the harshest of realities into an intoxicating rapture, and euphoria!
Some music brings back such nostalgia for me, too! It’s breathtaking!
