One With All, My Destined Path

One With All, My Destined Path
One With All, My Destined Path

Destined…

We are creatures of continuous growth and potential, and no matter the frustration of irresolution, we can only understand the truth when we are indeed ready to hear it.

In time all will be revealed,
each nuance and subtle phrase in life
put to bed our doubts and fears,
and that day will be a glorious day,
a day of cleansing and renewal,
because we are lost in our own thoughts,
concerned for what is not ready to appear,
as our journey is long,
and the soul must be strong to attest the load,
the weight of truth.

I am impatient,
the truth my honey nectar,
and I will to understand what now I cannot,
for each step brings me closer,
yet the whole my inept hopes dashed,
waiting my penance to be paid,
before this soul is made clean,
ready to accept the dreams I have not dreamed,
the possibilities I’ve not considered
in my striving.

I am bestowed with much I’ve sought,
and gratitude precedes my every thought,
as the process is endless,
my longing just a prelude to discovery,
as this soul leaves not to chance,
the dance of life, the movements
I cannot ignore, for surely
peace comes through understanding,
and in silence I shall sate my fill,
until like a summer bloom, I will open until
I am one with all.

Many fear the truths and untruths, yet, we will be uncovered in full. We can hide behind them here and skirt them best we can, but the day of reckoning will confront us, we can’t hide from the truth forever. So I strive to confine myself to being wholesome in these last days and years of my stay here. The twilight dims my sins and drag them along, like a ball and chain I’m clinging to them, but fear them not. For our maker is compassionate and sees and knows all, I truly feel there is room in his chamber for forgiveness. I loved this work Tony, your mastery with the pen is breathless for this poet. Bravo
