The meaning of her smile
When a woman smiles …

Maybe it’s just me although I don’t know
after all these years
yet can it really be true there’s more soul
in a woman’s smile in a woman’s tears
It’s probably just my age but God when a woman smiles
I find it carries the day
she may be younger or older she may plain
or a model in every way
I was thinking how young and pretty as I
followed behind
yet she held the door turned and then smiled
and the smile became mine
I listened to the heart break of a friend one day
I witnessed the raw beauty of her soul
that heart will heal again is what I said
just bring that smile in out of the cold
Give us all souls that tender and bare
as making the beauty of a woman worthwhile
And our world would become heaven right here
all filled with angels who smile
Thank you my angels
