Connection of Life in the Cosmos

Never has the light been stronger,
never broader in its scope, and
in humility I bow to the conjecture
that life beyond my imaginings
is far more than ever thought.
I tussle with possibility
to be placated by twice my thoughts,
my shear incapacity
brought into line by infinite hope,
that life is simply everywhere.
Not rare as science would have you,
but burgeoning on every level
of existence, of understanding
that life always finds a way
no matter what the environment, there is hope.
As adaptation finds survival,
and survival finds its masters,
evolution and change bring success
and in ascension, reign,
as life multiplies and grows.
The rise and fall of species
is just glitches in time,
one moment the apex, the next
a paradigm of change,
and the downtrodden rise.
As the pendulum swings incessantly,
and life comes and goes,
the cosmos expands and grows,
and we meld together with our past and future,
souls of abundance shared and old.
For within the cosmos,
we are all of life, of purpose,
and those from the stars are related,
our beginning and our end,
as life evolves exponentially.
Those of distance
are no more alien that we,
and the creatures that abide this earth,
difference a misnomer of understanding,
souls and minds in continual growth.

You really put me to a lot of thinking, Tony, and confirm my thoughts on life, hope and truths. Ever growing we are. I so enjoy and learn from these type thoughts of yours. Great work, as always.
Much appreciated Phyllis, glad you relate. Cheers!
The Universe doesn’t bow to earth, it suspends us in time. We will come and go, earth is just on loan to us, to be it’s keeper and when the time comes that the key must be taken from us, the Universe will speak. We see how were floundering, yet as humans of destruction, we don’t stop our greed, just let the earth die with pollution, destruction and carnage of mankind. Looking from space what does an astronaut see? A miracle, he is cut off and suspended in gravity, knowing that at any moment, he can be cut free to be part of the great sea of unlimited space. I’m amazed by the insignificance of earth in this vast sea of planets that surround us. Well written my friend, your words are wise.
Yes, we are but a small flame in and endless darkness, yet filled with life. Our greed and ignorance comes at a price. Glad you enjoyed the work Vincent. Cheers!
