Spring Moon

Spring magic …

The softer breezes,

were blowing about,

the night was full of sighs –

and the spring moon was in the sky.

There is nothing to make romance,

so much sweeter, kisses more passionate –

than when those twinkling stars,

meet the spring moon shining in the night

Dreams of dancing,

under silvery moonlight,

dreaming dreams –

of love in the night.

Spring moon,

burn so bright,

bring me joy and happiness –

the thrill of love.

As the winter snows,

begin to melt away,

the sun sends warm rays

and much brighter days.

As much as the sky,

seemed frozen in the cold of winter.

It has now opened wide,

sending everyone reeling on a love filled ride.

I smell the earth,

promising spring flowers,

see the rivulets –

of silver snow streams.

Longer days that bring magical daydreams,

the spring calling to lovers.

Holding hands and sharing kisses,

beneath that spring moon above.

Call to me spring moon,

send me a lover.

to make me swoon –

shine your magic into my heart.

Spring magic,

soon filling the air.

Sweet music from songbirds,

most everywhere.

Long was the winter,

cold were the stars,

unfriendly was the moon,

snowflakes dancing around.

Gray days,

melting one into the other.

Rare was the sunshine –

till spring came back again.

Spring moon,

glad to see you old friend,

been a long time coming –

my heartbeats with music strumming.
