The Nature of Being

Cycles in nature…
The roses bloom in glorious array
and then fade just as fast,
their life stricken with brevity,
yet beauty’s eyes cast
to give scope enough for life.
The ebbs and flows
can be misleading in themselves,
rises and falls of concern,
but life in balance is perfection,
a gift for eyes to discern.
Never can a mind detest the fall,
the fading light or near death’s door,
for what beauty remains in transition all,
the cycle of rebirth a shift,
a recognition in perspective.
Honor the rose, for it is perfection,
its bloom the majesty of life, and
feel not sad for its crumbled fall,
its resurrection implores us
to know its second bloom.
Life is an infinite undulation,
and judge not the bounds of life and death,
for they are just the edges of the circle,
the never-ending spinning of bliss,
the very nature of being.

The circle of life is ever present, throughout nature and all creation. I love this verse, Tony. Great work.
