Those Lilting Voices from the Heavens

Voices call, from distance immeasurable,
sounds of life in plea of recognition,
and their wonder I feel, just as I,
pondering the night sky, infinite,
and I can feel their angst, their questioning,
of what lay beyond sight,
life is so many forms
guided into the light of existence.
As I, their yearning is like a prayer,
to find meaning in this gift of being,
and regardless of kind they are as we,
lost within these boundless cycles,
the ebb and flow of dreams,
and so I reach out in a peaceful way,
invite them in union of all life,
to find new ways to be.
Two souls far from close,
in pensive contemplation,
gazing into the heavens of possibility,
unable to see yet knowing each other exists,
and hoping for the grace of meeting,
the gratitude in understanding
that never are we alone,
within the infinite night.
Life is diverse and endlessly productive,
and we each upon a planet,
stand indebted to the whole,
the limitless options of life too much to grasp,
yet we are a part of a story untold,
a revolving, ever-expanding dream,
that begs the experience, the knowing,
to placate our fears and woes,
and enrich our souls.

Such wondrous musings, Tony, and expressed beautifully. I love it. Great work that I can really relate to, for I often gaze at the night sky and wonder …
Glad you enjoyed it Phyllis. Enjoy the remainder of your day. Cheers!
‘Finding meaning…The ebb and flow of dreams’ so well said, and isn’t that what we all seek. It’s wonderful that you are so intuned to all of the infinite voices colliding out there, and always without bias, only listening and absorbing the wonders, ever seeking betterment. Well penned, enjoyed it.
Best,
Mel
