An Admirable Life in Acceptance

An Admirable Life in Acceptance
An Admirable Life in Acceptance

Fearsome eyes,
unrelenting, focused eyes,
piercing through reality like a blade,
every nuance saved in memory,
every memory the spark of process,
living in a sentient mind
within a pliable world.

What moves within this awareness,
this sharp, critical mind of nature’s whim,
bound for survival, explicitly adaptable,
and within its domain,
a king, an undeniably reign,
from any perspective.

High above the world,
half way to heaven, eyes observe
the vast plains of life,
the struggle, the pain and joy, the strife,
and from this post in endless skies,
life below so compromised by thought,
so enslaved by self and entrapped by will.

Yet, uncompromising this life in flight,
day or night its vision absolute,
no qualms, no philosophy to become moot,
just a being, moment by moment,
that in righteous steps attests life’s vision,
self just an accepted place,
a step above the chaos below.

Isn’t it wonderful to just be in the moment? Maybe we should pay more attention to dreams when our spirit soars far above. Beautiful verse, Tony. Well done.

Interesting poetic thoughts. I always believe if you look at things from a different perspective we can see more clearly what is really happening.

True Rasma, a single plane of thought is like trying to understand three dimensions from only one. Truth evolves as we glean many perspectives in understanding. Take care.
