When Stars Collide

When Stars Collide
When Stars Collide

When stars collide,
and love survives the dawn,
as thoughts betray the falsehoods
that delusion in life has sewn,
I will be by your side,
as ever our love derives in paradigm,
eternal flames and more.

And when darkness shrouds the light,
when pendulum swayed the night,
beside me you will be,
to face whatever life can bring,
whatever clouds our sight
in the gloaming light of change,
we shall be together, hand in hand.

At the end of time,
when all has been and done,
and souls collected and arisen to highest summits,
I will be standing by your side,
our love at its zenith,
our melded hearts no longer apart,
but as one in life’s long path.

Then, when worlds begin, again,
when planets form
and suns in sworn agreement,
we, together
will witness the beginnings of time immemorial,
that endless rhyme of life’s outward cycles,
mirroring both past and future, sublime.

I will be yours, you will be mine,
in eternal flame of enduring time,
as life rises and falls,
as souls come and go and in ascension call
the name of God,
that omniscient wish of being,
we understand is the gift of life.
