The patriots watch and wait
We see all that you have done and know you have nothing else to do
as you hustle away to the campus
late as usual
as you drop the books someone else paid for
and paint away on your protest sign
tongue lagging at one side
of your mouth
Chanting and running from one plate glass window
to another your brinks and stones
heavy in your pockets
Do you even listen to the chanting behind you ?
Aiming your stones towards the burning
cruiser the cop
laying nearby
Know this …….we are watching it all in silence
we know where you live what you eat and where you play
we saw you as you slammed the door
at home and ran leaving your
parents in tears
when it all comes down to the day
we will rise up
and you see us
The patriots watch and wait
from aloft and from lofted shadows
when you scream out your anger
and someone answers and speaks your name
there eye’s on no one but you
know that the day of reckoning has arrived
the day that will follow you home
One day there will come a reckoning for all that you
have done for all the damage you have caused
the burning the breaking the pain
and when you turn to look behind and no one’s there
Turn back to the front and face the patriot
and the patriot will be standing alone
for others there is no need
your judgement day has arrived
and until that day
the patriot watches and waits

Hello John , Hi Phyllis , I actually fear of whats to come in America , there is a lot of “noise ” out there that incites revolution , civil disturbance or some other act of politically motivated violence , I am also aware that almost all of that noise is coming from the left.I do believe that if there is another civil war like happening in America , there will be no city , no state and no small town in this country that will be safe.from the incredible pain to come . Kind of scary huh ?

It is scary indeed, Ed. I agree it is coming from the left. We must do what we can to keep harmony and balance in ourselves, like you do with nature, and help others to acheive that same peace within them. We will stand together, us Patriots. Thank you, Ed.
As a patriot – I watch and I wait to see which way the wind blows…… those that wish to harm us from with in – will fail, this I have no doubt.
