They, Who Choose to Harm and Soil Truth

They, Who Choose to Harm and Soil Truth
They, Who Choose to Harm and Soil Truth

Causing harm through jealousy…

Who are we to be brutalized by scandalous intentions,
lies of invention that persecute innocence,
when truly hearts, squandered by delusion,
vent their shallow hold on life,
by exacting strife through jealousy’s eyes,
truths despised by self-empowerment,
to keep delusion alive.

I have seen so much hatred,
funneled through overwhelmed minds,
so tainted by their own selfish kind,
they see not the damage caused,
for they care less for others, these malignant s,
free of rational thought and mind,
enacting pain for all that may reveal their truth.

Such savagery I have never known,
flagrant mean-spirited souls who in freedom,
choose to hurt, to depose, to taint and sully
all who see them for who they are,
and not lose one night of sleep,
in the deluded world they keep,
a world baring all they see they are, in dreams.

One soul alone can cause such devastation,
that families crumble, divided over lies
that no-on seeks to disprove, rather
choose sides and blame;
perhaps it is the venting that holds them together,
truth, sadly far from notice,
when hatred steps up to the plate, many will follow.

I know this to be true, Tony. One demented soul can rip a family apart and for some ungodly reason believe they are justified to carry on with their madness. It is devastating. Very emotive expression.
