All Else in its Name

All Else in its Name
All Else in its Name

What can love be,
but the relenting of all else in its name,
where love transcends self and the world of limits,
transforming life to an afferent dream of reality,
where none shall pass of ignoble breath,
and tender touches leave a soul bereft
of any other need, but love.

How beguiling this slender thread to heaven,
this tether of irrepressible hold,
that a heart should be blessed by such beauty,
like living within unrelenting tears of joy,
where emotions meld with reality
and we so delicate to withstand the pleasure.

Tears flow like torrents,
as love envelopes a mind with such tender beauty,
and one touch is like a bolt of lightning,
a heart restarted to imbibe the glee,
and precious is this love that swallows me whole,
that removes me from my woes, to lay upon the green.

In nature’s arms we find each other,
as if our roots entwined with all,
and surging is the life that love espouses,
one with all living things,
and through our lips those words unspoken,
do convey a written heart of everything.

All else in its name fades away,
so purity shall claim the day,
and love in its nurture shall remove all worry and fear,
to stay within a wanting hearts life,
to steer the journey to glory
in our greatest moments.
