The Vitriol of Intrusive Minds

The Vitriol of Intrusive Minds
The Vitriol of Intrusive Minds

I will reject intrusive minds…

The closer one becomes to reality,
the further away one senses one’s own state of mind,
and delusions of value aside,
I wonder what best fits into mine,
the constructs of reality, like pillars in the sand,
or the freedom of thoughts,
untethered to the limits we demand.

Elusive the forming of truth,
ever-honed by external circumstance,
change before our very eyes, aloof,
and we awaiting a definitive end to a transient infinity,
never see truth completely,
only the composite of its facets,
as we, like puppies sit, moo-eyed awaiting epiphanies.

There is what I will live with
and what I will not,
whose truths they are, irrelevant,
and in my world, certain rules to adhere,
and blasphomies that stir me away from my will,
so far behind it affects a stagnancy,
will be caste out, truth or not.

My truths are based on personal discovery,
reality that sits within my scope of acceptance,
and when breaches occur, I see not the good,
only the vitriol of intrusive minds,
who with weapons pursue hurt,
and for whatever reason assert influence,
that I will not tolerate.

So very well stated Tony, one of the many things that I admire about you, is your steadfast consistency and will, to capture as much of the truth as possible. It’s wonderful that you let nothing get in the way of your personal pursuits. Enjoyed this.

    Best,
    Mel
