Esoteric notions…fodder for truth

Some arcane notion
swoops down like a bird of prey,
and snaps up the living,
tallons clenched around the neck,
a mind spinning in airless struggle,
desperate to hold reason,
and pleading for resolve.

How forstered these sargacious ideals,
a propensity of a yearning mind,
to devour all possibilites
and let truths release in time,
to better find place within this all,
this seeking game:
hidden, the whispers of the divine.

Open I am to revelation,
the storms that transcend themsleves
with harsh lessons and epiphany,
that shake the world to sand, let nothing stand
and yield a new beginning;
for esoteric minds seek not limitation,
but creative enough in saturation,
to open doors unknown, where windows stood before.

Accosted I’ve become with thoughts as these,
so deeply felt to a state of unease,
yet truth glimmers in their being,
and follow I must their paths of enquiry,
their proposterous nature too beguiling to release,
and so I feed my mind, nurture all,
in case the truth refuse to stall, and right becomes.

Things that are harder to understand can really challenge us to broaden our minds. Even if we are pretty much set in our own ways, new ideas can become of value. Interesting, in that I am in the process of writing an article that addresses new thoughts or ideas and how they are a challenge to us which keeps our minds open to learn. Very well penned verse, Tony. Great work.
