The Endless Journey…never still, never finished

The more I learn the less I know,
the more I know the less I believe,
as my perceptions are flawed,
fraught with a human plight,
tainted by free will that is driven by a fractious ego,
one that moves for its own sake.
Much of my resolves are born of inner conflict,
one side in protection of delusions held,
the other side seeking truth,
and at what point I am in undulation
is the throw of dice,
forever drowning in a sea of choice.
What definitive s may be expressed
are tenuous at best,
for perceptions change endlessly,
and knowledge open to epiphanies
are rarely complete,
so self-confidence comes with a caveat.
The only truth to be held is the journey,
the process of learning without assumption,
acquiring but not having reached accomplishment
which infers the end of learning,
whereas life is a pathway of continual learning,
continual perceptions and expanded truths gleaned.
We are vessels of potential, never to be filled,
but always being filled in process,
and to that end we must remain open,
never prideful and always willing to see further,
for truth has no end,
just as life amid transformation.
