Childhood Memories – Haiku

Wonderful days playing with my friends …

Playing Having Fun
Childhood Memories

Childhood memories bring a smile on my face and fill my heart with joy. Those glorious, wonderful days  with my friends having great fun without a care in the world.

Capturing all those feelings in haiku form of poetry, I have penned these lines. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing.

small muddy footprints

following one another

playing hide and seek

loud sounds of laughter

running fast trying to catch

glassy  soap bubbles

a warm sunny day

giggling rolling on the grass

chasing butterflies

sound of ringing bells

rushing out screaming in joy

ice cream delights

playing throw and catch

out of breath screaming out loud

the goal was to last

summer holidays

having fun without a care

precious memories

Writing is my passion, nature my inspiration. I enjoy reading and listening to music. Poetry is my favorite form of expression. I also write poems and articles on HubPages under the pen name "Vellur".
