Terrorists are Many…and don’t necessarily wave flags

Terrorists are Many
Terrorists are Many…and don’t necessarily wave flags

Smooth, the tethers of belief,
a smile augmented, intentions unseen,
and embraced by those of like minded adherence,
ready to erode qualms, questions or interference;
as joined at the hip like zealots of religion,
your allies groom you to make their decisions,
and blindly follow their deluded truths,
in the shadow of their control, their orchestrated ruse.

How blindly people follow,
with not an ounce of reason or proof,
the raving insanity of twisted dark minds,
who enlist their allies to support their strange truths;
and as groups form of irrational thoughts,
together in strength they give their support,
without thinking, without understanding
they just nod in agreement,
for whatever the group says, truth in concealment.

And decisions aren’t vetted,
not considered at all,
as actions do escalate, to harm and much more,
as the group becomes hostile, given conflicts to quell,
they take laws into hand, and act as one to dispel,
any shadow upon their ideals, a threat to belief,
is quickly averted by violence and grief,
and so the group become terrorist.

With righteous cause in mind and heart,
there are no ways that can take them apart,
just the sole existence of being the group,
and believing they matter, that God is their truth;
it is a human need to feel wanted, to have purpose,
yet having awareness and using the mind,
is not for a group, where decisions are blind,
just an effortless ignorance of life.

    Terrorists are many, that is so true. Some terrorists are very subtle when they are bent on destroying their own family relations and traditions. (that is a personal issue I deal with constantly, and have to work it out in my heart). Very well stated verse, Tony. Many such people you speak of are followers without a mind of their own, heartless, soulless. In my experience, the people who have hurt others the most do so in the name of God. I am not putting down God, just the people who misinterpret his will, or intentionally use him to feel righteous.

    So true Phyllis, God is a perfect scapegoat, in his name relieves them of responsibility for what they do, at least in their minds. Glad you related, for these people collect allies, for the group, the support structure to do harm. We have such potential, humanity, yet so many people use it for dark purpose. Thanks Phyllis, so pleased to related. Cheers!

    The only people whom we can never even for a moment understand or justify are the terrorists..i also feel it is quite rediculous that they use God’s name as an excuse for all their actions against humanity..how twisted are their ideals of truths ,their beliefs and how ignorant are their minds..such a strong message you have conveyed here Tony in such emotive words..thank you so much for sharing..

    Your poetic words certainly speak the truth. Terrorists have become our neighbors and we never know who and where they might show up next. I think that is most frightening.

    It is and has transformed how we all think and act. If only the world would accept love as a paradigm and forget all this hatred and vilification. It all seems so pointless. Glad you related Rasma.
