Living in Beauty’s Eye

Beauty’s eye is never sated,
as love resides not in any container,
and life is one glorious ride,
with no limits to restrain it.

Tis not life that yields too little,
just our perception in struggle,
for closed we may be in belief, will
furnish a short-sighted grief of potency.

How blind we may be,
to the beauty and magnificence of being,
seeing only the bare threads of self,
rather than the complexity of everything.

To behold life in sentient detail,
is like seeing a droplet as part of an ocean,
as seeing a colour as a pure emotion,
and feeling it with your mind.

Beauty flourishes in those who seek,
who, with open heart, meet life with acceptance,
and the more we look the more we see,
and meaning transcends our past beliefs.

To live in beauty’s eye, is accepting love
and all that passes by an extension of it;
so be present, be pragmatic,
for love changes everything and beauty soothes the soul.
