Inspired…each moment unwritten
Each day…unwritten
Inspired by the fall of day,
I invite the night to glittering eternity,
to soothe my burdened brow
with a soft and assuring moon,
the breeze to tease that chill of day’s relent,
and bring the sounds of night
to sing its melodic songs of thankful life,
another day survived.
And in this refuge, between
the gloaming light and nights cover complete,
I breathe the air and know it to be sweet,
each moment an afferent joy,
a feeling of security and place,
within this vast array of life,
endless choices in a rolling sea of plight,
a heart in discovery.
Change is like a kaleidoscope,
ever transforming in colour and form,
and nature’s way is most poignant, inspiring,
seasons, days, moments in transient flow,
beauteous rhythms in endless display,
as a heart beats, as if in time,
with life’s movement,
its unfurling divine will.
As morning quells the beauty of night,
and slumber stolen by those first warm rays,
clarity in crystal form inspires yet another dawn,
and life opportunity in day,
as time flows in seamless infinity,
and we of life a sublime affinity,
knowing what we have
in potential.
