Hatred’s Bitter View

Bitter view and vengeful lives…

Hatred's Bitter View
Hatred’s Bitter View…hearts so limited

Bitter Hearts…

And hearts sealed by past affronts,
hold fast to fears and mindless beliefs,
just to connect with pain
in what is thought a lesser bane,
a demon known and accepted.

So bound within this narrow room,
the heart is stifled and slowly consumed
by any ideal that sees them win,
that opposes and blames everything,
accept their own limitations.

Blindly do they follow,
to vanquish all and never accept responsibility,
become the deliverance of pain and hurt,
in revenge for their own incapability,
their cowardly stance of stagnancy.

The world becomes an enemy,
willing to reveal their reality,
and so they make war, on goodness,
for it has not touched them, in their blindness,
their quest for power without culpability.

Delusion comes at cost,
and happiness would never grace their door,
just more of the same defence and loss,
of everything that life could afford,
and so in hatred’s bitter view they remain.
