The Esoteric Power of Words
Esoteric in nature, the connection of words
Words have meaning
only when a receptive mind relates,
otherwise they are wafting smoke on a breeze,
quickly dissipating to insignificance;
and no matter the purity,
the intention and power of the words,
they live only for minds connected.
Therefore words are only as meaningful
as the mind able to understand them,
or even want to hear them,
and lost are words delivered to ignorance,
for they have indignation to keep their fragile egos warm,
and not understanding them becomes
a matter of principle.
Words outside the vernacular
are greeted with disdain, judged inappropriate,
and understanding limited
to education or class distinction,
thus pridefully ignored in content:
words of no meaning and thus
no power.
Words delivered in passion,
timed well and appropriately expressed
can have life-altering consequences,
their purity and power
to strike the hearts of those who need to hear them,
and in their journey from one mind to another,
epiphanies may occur.
When words and minds connect,
the universe lights up,
for that is an expression of the divine,
connection a sacrosanct sharing,
that not only translates understanding
but activates possibility,
the creative stream within all life.
