The Artist’s Colors, the Poet’s Words

The Artist's Colors, the Poet's Words
The Artist’s Colors, the Poet’s Words

Colors move with a weightless grace,
infusing a canvas with layered rich refrain,
each hue a measure of intention’s gain,
to rise in minds faculty and emerge prominent,
and to serve the master’s subtle remembrance.

Each stroke a key to a fantasy,
blurred inference and stark reality,
paving the way to minds fluid dreams
upon a virgin landscape,
stretched across imaginations table.

The mind enters the swirling colors
as if a deep watery cavern,
to find the source, the meaning,
like words echoing in a void of possibility,
one at a time chosen in reality.

Words and colors and thoughts evolve,
as the creator weaves their complex web,
and thoughts are transferred,
soaring outward into the ether,
held in heart and shared to feed the soul.

Each moment a new light shines,
in places where darkness had the floor,
when art and mind transcend the void,
to bring a heart to wondering,
to feel and know potentials find.

Isn’t it beautiful when a poet’s words are released and they soar till they find the right hearts and souls to land? Wonderful verse, Tony – I love it.
