And So It Is…for a Knowing Mind

Who knows the sights I’ve seen,
the miracles I’ve witnessed,
the love that’s saved my mind,
the beauteous potential of everything,
wrapped in one shroud,
one package of being, life.
Who knows what I see, what I understand
in the movement of cause and effect,
the wisdom that crowns my sentient mind,
when life burdens with consequences,
stings the heart and robs the soul of truths profound.
Lowly I walk the path of knowing,
oppressed by truths from those of ignorance,
and I see not the anger inside me,
rather sorrow for those who betray their own possibilities,
and blame other for their choices cast,
into a world of inevitable balance.
Understanding is an immense burden, as
a truth seeker carries the blame and anger of the lost,
who see with those who know,
an ending to their own lies, caught red-handed,
and so their vengeful hearts construe
to harm, to violate, to end the encroaching truth,
by blame and malice.
A knowing mind withdraws from life,
for those who hunt them in vengeful rage,
cannot abide their calm resolve,
their knowing a threat to their very survival,
and so intuition guides life to a quiet solace,
an uncomplicated life immersed in art and beauty
to placate the hatred and vile tirades.
And so it is.
