Within the Arms of Love’s Dream

Words taken in surrender,
imbue a soul’s rich countenance,
and the warmth of a heart’s acceptance
transcends time and every moment,
for loving thoughts do render peace within,
and in a lover’s eyes each breath begins.

And the heart soars into eternal skies,
to joyous heights and harmony,
and mundane worlds do slip away,
to bless the finding of love’s sweet delight,
stars made for hearts to share,
beauty held in loving care.

And what bliss does love impart,
its openness and vulnerability the start,
for by love and purity in selfless giving,
we discover more than an ideal, within ourselves,
more than possibility imparts,
a reality of living that is greater than the sum of us.

As hands touch in delicate understanding,
and hearts meld into one,
souls in reward of connection’s blessing,
aspire to deeper threads of life,
and to banish all pain and strife
to make peace within us, a freedom sought.

Love sounds like a symphony of realization,
a melody that attests our feelings so tenderly,
and together we are invincible,
apart, a sorrow too much to endure,
as life becomes joyful of being,
a transformation of seeing.
