Spiritual Lantern Carrier
For many years I have considered myself to be a spiritual lantern carrier. Does that mean I try to impose on others a religion or particular way of belief? No, it does not. A spiritual lantern carrier comes from Love, from the heart and soul, and endeavors to reach the darkened corners of the world and the hearts of those who need help in finding their own path in life. A lantern carrier is a spiritual mentor. Do I consider myself perfect? No, I am far from perfect and will always be learning.
I became a spiritual lantern carrier during the lowest part of my life when I had thoughts of ending it. Someone reached out to me, pulled me up from the dark pit and showed me what Love truly is. I emanated that Love and warmth I found to reach out to others and help them as I was helped. I did not put a name to my newly found task in life till many years later.
A spiritual lantern carrier spreads light and love, wherever their calling takes them. Whether it is by physical travel or on a spiritual journey, they help others to open their eyes to what is happening in the physical world today and how we can stand up to save Mother Earth and humanity from those in control who are determined to destroy all the beauty and harmony for their own benefit and power.
Who is a spiritual lantern carrier? They are a special breed of people of any faith, religion, race, or belief system. You may even be one yourself. Their special meeting place is in the heart of humanity, in the spirit of Mother Earth, and among their brothers and sisters world-wide. Sometimes a few may gather in one place and when they do it is like being in a joyful, peaceful home where harmony and balance reign.
You may not put a name or title to the Love in your heart and soul, or to the way you help others – yet, if you come from Love and the heart you are one who can help others to heal and heal this world from corruption and destruction.
May you always walk in Love, Peace and Harmony with all Creation, softly upon Mother Earth.

I have always liked to write.It is important to me that writing comes from my heart and soul. When writing poetry, if I do not feel a spiritual connection to what I am writing on, I will discard it and go on to something I can connect with on a spiritual level. I live in the moment, I write from the past or beyond the veil. When writing fiction I go with whatever inspires me at the moment - it could be funny, sorrowful, romantic or sometimes done with the use of colloquial language from mountain folk or other cultural regions.
I began writing content online in 2007, starting with BellaOnline - A Voice For Women, where I was the Native American Editor, Folklore & Mythology Editor, and the Appalachian Editor. I also wrote articles forThe Examiner, Daily Two Cents, and Yahoo. I am currently an author on HubPages.
Most of what I write takes a lot of research and I love it. Even if it is a fictional story, I will research for accuracy in whatever it takes to make my characters, their era, their location, etc. become realistic to the reader.
