Listen to the Pulse

I feel that endless pulse,
blood coursing through my veins,
surging as if in sync with all life,
like the time ticking away, pushing forward,
as each aspect acknowledges others,
a knowing smile of declaration
within a vast and infinite microcosm of life,
forever moving like swaying green kelp
beneath a rolling aqua sea.
I can feel the outpouring of life
from trees and plants,
grasping the earth with loving tendrils
and radiating outward its life, expanding,
growing and touching other life,
leaves glowing with intention,
energy flowing through trunk and bow
like luminous blue and golden trials of sparks,
each trail eventually joining other plants and trees
in miraculous displays of sharing,
a web of interrelated connections
so inspiring.
Each life, no matter how small is connected to all,
energy absorbing, projecting
with intentions and the tasks of survival,
and I watch them thrive within a natural balance,
life and death, ebb and flow
in perfect movement, perfect acceptance,
each aspect, each organism
within its path and cycle of existence,
brimming with purpose and
a mirror of the creator’s deft touch.
I wonder how we, humanity,
have so maligned this perfection of purpose and movement,
when it bares all we need to understand,
the connections of every form of life
a guide to prosperity and fulfillment,
and in love the answer to all contentions of will and ego,
yet we listen not to nature’s whisper,
her resounding of truth, and fall for our own greed
and ultimate failure.

If only all could be so in tune to nature as you are what a glorious world it would be, Tony. This is very inspirational and touched that part of me that so loves nature. Great work indeed.
Thanks Phyllis, so pleased you enjoyed my thoughts. have a great day!
