The Core of Knowing is Love
Love, the Core…
There is a beauty in realization
that cleanses the soul,
that just relents on contention
and makes peace within us,
for all the misconceptions and biases we hold.
Each epiphany a tremor of movement,
to let us know change is to ensue,
and within that an uplifting
to further understand what debris we carry,
in our reluctant stand of balance.
The beauty itself is the shedding of old,
the replenishment of what we know,
unscathed by time and weathering,
those values and truths
that ground us to knowing who we are
and why we are here.
Clarity, like a new dawn,
imbues our minds and uplifts the soul,
when we realize the simplicity of our confusion,
and the uncomplicated way to placate our pain
to restore the peace that each one of us can hold,
if only we would relent on the negative
and accept love as the core of all movement.
Beauty is then the backdrop of all consideration,
seeing the good beneath even the most vile show,
and knowing transformation is always at hand,
when we allow love
to command our thoughts and being.
