Shines Just For Me
Another day dawns another dream unfolds
for are we not all but dreamers ,
and are we not all but reborn ?
and after your dreams and visions of the night,
where they too are reborn,
So let you awaken this day renewed ,
tear away from those hold over nightmares,
a lost love ,
a lost loved one ,
this quest of life unanswered,
And as you don those slippers ,
making your way to the coffee maker,
sip the milk of this life and this dawn ,
breathe in the steam of fresh brew,
a new day.
Place your hand over your heart
and promise just for me,
” I am alive and I will live this day
like never before and never again”,
and when you sip and swallow the milk
of life of love and of living .
Wrap your arms around your body
and look at the sun
and know

I will do that, Ed. ” I am alive and I will live this day like never before and never again”, but every day. This is a very inspirational piece – I love it ! Very nice indeed.
It does shine just for you Ed and that is how we all must feel, to love ourselves is to love life able to be proud of who we are.
You need to put some sort of photo up, Ed, of anything so I can know which are your poems to read. There are several with no picture so sort of confusing. A hat or anything that after awhile we all will know it is you.
