Do Not Despair, Love Wins All

What speaks through the dark resolves of demons,
corrupted beyond an irrevocable fate,
shall in no way win the war, yet battles
taunt the higher hopes of righteous belief,
as seemingly the darkness pervades all good,
as if justice removed by a petty thief.
Dire we may see the would,
for all its accumulated grief,
yet there is no power beyond the purity of love
that can reign forever in deceit,
because love is creation, is God, is what holds life in place,
darkness just a balance, a shadow of time and space.
What appears the undoing of love
is just balance finding juxtaposition,
and in the exalting of it as we may observe,
lost souls on paths of learning find omission;
it is how we perceive the demons, that brings us to course,
for love cannot fail, for it is life itself without remorse.
So, rather than weep for the darkness that oppresses,
hold tight to love, the victor of all wars
in the name of life, that will surely prevail,
and darkness is but an infant trying to find light,
and in that light it relents,
the ultimate power beyond the fight.

This so wonderful to read Tony and keeps hope alive, “for love cannot fail” – so true. Very nicely penned. Thank you.
Much appreciated Phyllis, glad you appreciated it. One has to keep reaffirming hope, as these days it all but appears lost. Cheers!
