Malleable Reality, an Inexplicable Truth

Malleable reality
Malleable Reality, an Inexplicable Truth

Thoughts may transcend notions of truth,
for truth is subjective and our perception of it
constantly in flux,
therefore definitive claims of truth
are at best wishful thinking,
as we traverse a physical realm with esoteric aspirations.

Reality begs to differ each time we perceive it,
and due to how we accept it
reality itself changes like running water:
it will fill any shaped receptacle and flow freely
and outwardly when in movement,
thus often difficult to grasp.

Commonality of the concept of reality
is what we share in mundane physical experience,
yet each of us in detail see differently,
one sees a gesture of kindness,
the other a ploy of manipulation,
each valid dependent upon the depth of awareness.

Reality on many levels is inexplicable,
as much dependent upon perception as truth,
and this why we have such varied and often harsh lives,
as our specific paths are unlike any other, and
create obstacles, challenges and overcoming problems
just to accomplish being on a day to day basis.

Reality is not just about us,
but how it fits with every other sentient mind on earth;
and we wonder why life is so complicated.

Very well penned thoughts, Tony. Reality is sometimes hard to grasp hold of, especially if one is under stress and not seeing things clearly. Well done!

So many minds and factors to consider with perception of reality, which is why this is such an interesting topic to think on. Our minds with the ultimate potential, to change outcomes. The little bit I have read on Buddhism seems to best capture
how we can move through the complexity and find our own calm. I really liked your use of the water as an example. Enjoyed it.

    Best,

Thanks Mel, yes its important to think about such matters as it keeps us fluid and accepting change as we move through life on our journey of learning. Glad you appreciated it. Take care.
