Weather Report
Weather Report…rainy day spring

The day shrugs with a helpless resolve,
sun dismissed in overzealous light,
and weather turned to a grey and dull respite,
rested from that sun’s aspirations.

Season’s turn a fickle plight,
two extremes laid in random play,
and I winter dressed or naked may
wonder what lay upon horizons.

Today, a fruitless dull and rainy day,
trapped inside and with reticent sigh, I
know not that afferent spring I sought,
back to moody gathered clouds, abort!

Through window pane and teaming rain
I look up for cracks, a touch of blue,
a hue I can relate, but not I, forsaken,
throw hope away today my aching bones.

Just when light restores that slumber,
taken away it seems in thunder,
and standing ready for warm embrace,
confronted by a negative pace, imbibed.

I am impatient, sick of tears and gloomy moods,
indolent ways and winter food,
my stagnant days and paunch pursued,
in ways by bod regrets.

Fleeting may this sad day be,
and open sky for me to feed,
I’m done with all of winter needs,
and ready for some action.
