The Puppets of Evil
Revelation is what happens
when the mist of lies and delusion is removed,
as truth itself is not enough,
for we are fed lies in the shape of truth,
until we cannot know the difference,
of course until the shroud is recognised and lifted,
and truth surfaces, contrasted by the illusions,
then we truly know what has ensued.
Much of the world as we know it is lies,
fed to us in order to control,
illusion to placate our condemnation,
our knowing of the narcissistic evil
that seeks to manipulate truth for self gain,
and we like puppets in cycles of repetition
pursue the dreams given to us as worthy,
yet are they our dreams?
Consumerism, addiction to social media
and entertainment, placates us,
keeps us numb and distracted so truth can be unnoticed,
and reality for us is a malleable construct,
elaborately undertaken with intent,
so we feel, applaud and condemn
exactly what they want, to keep us in control,
as wars and hatred keep us impassioned,
feeling protected by governments
who instigated it in the first place.
Where are the honest politicians,
those with compassionate souls,
who will fight for humanity,
fight for peace and prosperity for all, and
where have the ideals of love and kindness gone,
lost within the economics of systems,
once in place to benefit society, harmony,
instead, we are taught to hate,
religions, philosophies, races,
to keep the wheels of oppression moving,
and we in control.
Truth would change the world,
but could it handle the truth, what’s really going on,
when all we know is lies,
and the more we blame and recognise who deceives us
the more we become exactly what they want,
impassioned humanity,
the puppets of evil.

Well stated, Tony. Humanity has lost the ideals of love and kindness. I often think back on how life was when growing up. People were kind, respected each other, family was important and traditions set by the parents, traditions that were honored and followed. Now, it does seem society is under the control of government and media. Individual morals and thoughts are not, in most cases, of the heart and soul, but set in place by controllers. So sad. Great work, indeed Tony.
It is sad Phyllis, so much has been lost in the current of modern life, not just about how we bring up our kids, but the influence that society has on them. It seems so dismal. We have to remain true to our beliefs; that’s all we can do.
