So Pure…

So Pure
So Pure…innate perceptions

So pure the eyes that behold purity,
and that is the conundrum:
without the possession
do we or can we see?

If love does not live within,
then how can we perceive of it without,
recognition and acceptance
a part of what we are?

To be amoral
one cannot understand morality,
therefore cannot recognize it,
know of its worth, its intention or ideal.

To be hateful,
one cannot recognize love,
just a perceived weakness of emotions,
an ineptitude of frivolous fancy.

To be joyous,
one cannot recognize hatred
but a foreign dark intent,
unworthy of thought and deed.

To be happy,
one accepts fault and ineptitude,
but chooses to imbibe life’s glory,
and appreciate the gift of being.

So pure the eyes that behold life,
accept and know the potential,
to be realized in humility
and with a loving heart.
