Revenge
Taking revenge will only make your life miserable, live your life in peace, forgive and forget. The act of forgiveness will lighten your burden and fill your life with happiness.
Do you not see
What is right in front of you
The writings on the wall
Screaming out loud
Telling you again and again
Your heart is going to be broken
By taking revenge
Shattered into million pieces
Remember this
Your tears will not be enough
To wash away the sorrow
Swelling like the ocean
Washing out drowning
Everything in its way
But your sorrows will not be washed away
Till the tides turn
Erasing forever
Thoughts to seek revenge
You will not be free
Jailed in your mottled thoughts
And scheming plots
that eat you day and night
Making you break out in cold sweat
Your life becoming a misery
As you plan your every move
Waiting and watching
To enact the final scene
Is it all worth it
Live your life in peace
Can you not find it in your heart

To forgive and forget – it’s so hard and yet, for one’s own peace of mind, it needs to be done. So well written!
