New Life Uncurling
New life, uncurling…
New life, uncurling
petals peeking through…
gazing first
upon a sleepy moon.
The softer light, yawning
bowing adieu
to dawn’s violet rise…
a new day assumes.
Baptismal eyes, glistening
reflecting golden hues…
blending spectrums
to a pique of poignant blue.
How sweet the silence
where all is new…
the quiet birth of a single bloom
donned in dew, abiding sky…
Awaiting her timely cue-
to release her honey perfume.

You use your line break for your advantage and create these create pauses. These pauses gave me a time to think about your words before continuation or ending. Brilliantly penned and a joy to read. Jamie
