Mounds of Falling Leaves
Mounds of Falling Leaves

Golden leaves descending
Enormous mounds appearing
Stationary, silent
***************************
Soft breeze emerges
Mounds flutter, wispy movement
Whirlwind cascading
****************************
Leaves ascending, mingling
Beautiful color array
View disappearing
****************************
Yard rake resting
Windy condition welcomed
Lawn leaf-free and beautiful
****************************

Very nicely penned, Ruby, with great imagery.
Thank you Phillis, happy you liked my Senryu poetry. I don’t see a picture?
I will take a look Ruby. It is less than 200 x 200 and may not show up on some devices and won’t show up on social networks.
Nice Senryu, Ruby. I can relate to the falling leaves in the wind, etc. the picture appears in the slideshow but not on the top of your poem.
Thanks John. How can I get the picture back at the top. It was there when I published?
It is not showing up in the edit box either, Ruby. Remember we had this problem before. The images you choose are always too small. You will have to choose one from Pixabay that is larger than 200X200 pixels. You will have to remove the image as featured and find a larger one. Do you know how to use the Pixabay tool?
Lovely. Fall is my favorite season.
Autumn is glorious in color and and movement; nicely captured here in poetic rendering. great work Ruby.
Phillis, I love that picture! Thank you. I will now use only Pixabay images. I promise…
Oh good – glad you like it, Ruby. There are many beautiful autumn photos on Pixabay.
Hello Lori. Fall is my favorite season too. The changing colors are so beautiful. Thank you for reading and commenting…
Hello Tony. It was great to watch the wind remove the leaves from my yard. Happy you enjoyed. Thank you..
Thanks again Phillis……
