Hopi Elders Fifth World Prophecy

Hopi Elders Warned Us …

World
Mother Earth Forgive Us

We have forgotten what the Hopi Elders told us,
Of days to come when all we now know
Will die as the first three worlds did,
When hatred overcame love and peace.

Three worlds destroyed by floods or fire,
Have gone before us, only the pure survived.
Now in the Fourth World, Tuwagachi,
We are seeing the signs you told of.

Men who killed to take land not theirs,
People who took over and depleted sources,
Let their new animals overrun the land,
Snakes of iron, railroads crossing pristine land.

A giant spider web, the internet, will cover the land.
Rivers of stone, highways covering land
That once were hunting grounds.
And seas turning black, oil spills did this.

Parents will lose control of their children,
Children who have no wish to learn
And no desire to know the old ways of peace.
All these signs you told us, the beginning of the end.

Now we are in the final stage you warned of.
Catastrophe world-wide, murders, wars,
Famines and homelessness grows daily.
Murder of innocents for their beliefs.

The final sign will be a heavenly body
Crashing to Earth, destroying all we know.
Then the emergence of the New World,
When the Day of Purification will cleanse what is left.

Who will survive this Fourth World? Who will go forth
And build a better world of Peace and Love?
Hopi Elders, you taught your children well,
But the world did not listen to warnings.

Is it too late
To stop the hate?
Can we make Amends
Before this World ends?

Mother Earth, forgive us. Help us uphold our highest truths, lest we forget again

I am an author on TCE and write mainly in poetry and short stories. I have always liked to write. It is important to me that writing comes from my heart and soul. When writing poetry, if I do not feel a spiritual connection to what I am writing on, I will discard it and go on to something I can connect with on a spiritual level. I live in the moment, I write from the past or beyond the veil. When writing fiction I go with whatever inspires me at the moment - it could be funny, sorrowful, romantic or sometimes done with the use of colloquial language from mountain folk or other cultural regions. I began writing content online in 2007, starting with BellaOnline - A Voice For Women, where I was the Native American Editor, Folklore & Mythology Editor, and the Appalachian Editor. I also wrote articles for The Examiner, Daily Two Cents, and Yahoo. I am currently an author on HubPages. Most of what I write takes a lot of research and I love it. Even if it is a fictional story, I will research for accuracy in whatever it takes to make my characters, their era, their location, etc. become realistic to the reader. I hope you enjoy my works. Thank you for visiting.

A resounding truth known to many cultures, and still the world does not listen. A poignant write Phyllis and the sad truth of what will come, I have no doubt.

Thank you, Tony. I have a great affinity to indigenous peoples – they have always known what mainstream society chooses to forget or ignore.

A poem that brings many different thoughts. Those who knew this were wise indeed. Sadly I doubt if this world will finally listen but there is always that little glimmer of hope that I never want to give up on.

I truly believe we are in end times as predicted by not only the Hopi but others with the powers to see beyond this world. But will someone, something intervene in the eleventh hour I wonder? What we call Aliens may be the ones who will prevent the earths ends, they will let us destroy ourselves, as a cleansing, but the planet will be saved and repopulated. You, I and many are seeing the signs of the times Phyllis. A very stimulating and thought provoking work, let’s pray the world gets saved before the Apocalypse ensues.

Thank you, Vincent. Mother Earth will survive and those who survive with Her will bring up new generations of more spiritually healthy people. The Hopi prophecies have come true so far. Thanks again, Vincent, I appreciate your visit to this article.
