Fractured Pictures In My Mind
Fractured Pictures
Fractured pictures, tortured words
Constant jumble, that’s my mind
Screeching backchat, might-have-beens
Go fast-forward, then rewind
Fix a smile upon my face
Madness swirling deep inside
Turmoil, tension never stops
Like a roller coaster ride
Then…..you came into my life
And before too long
You made music in my mind
Now my world’s a song
You sorted, you unraveled
What was black as night
From cacophony to symphony
You fill my world with light
Yes, you make music in my mind
And suddenly I find
My world’s a song
And the song flows along
