To Eternity…With You in My Arms

Soul’s Request … Eternity…with you in my arms. 

Eternity with you…

Translucent, those feelings I have,
that resound within like gentle wafts of air,
bathing scenes with summer warmth
and do abandon all my woes and cares,
to reveal this aching heart.

Nothing I can hide, when you are near,
your smile a switch to open skies,
and I immersed within your eyes,
lost in flight a soul apprised
of life’s joyous peaks.

My heart cannot bare a silence
when you speak,
and laughter breaks the gloom,
as I in tender embrace do hold your love,
and in blissful right attuned.

Even words cannot avow my hopes,
but how I feel cannot be hidden,
as my heart pours out so freely
when you are here,
as I must abide my soul’s request,
and love you to eternity.
